Gently warm honey for bottling or decrystallisation. Features include heavy gauge stainless steel, water-jacketed tank, visual glass gauge showing height of water in water jacket, chromalox heating element, temperature gauge, dripless tap. Also very useful for melting and purifying wax.

This unit has a 90 kg capacity.

Special order units with 135, 225, 450, 900, or 1800 kg capacities.

No knives or steam required. Frames raised and lowered manually, uncaps each frame in seconds.

Motor automatically starts when frame is lowered and stops when it is raised back up. A series of chains on each side of the frame whirl about to remove cappings.

Optional drain trays available to catch cappings.

Two models available: CFM 6 and CFM 12

Reversible extractors have a higher throughput than the same sized radial extractors. Frames are placed in baskets which swing from one side to the other depending on the direction of spin. Because frames are nearly tangential the extraction is very efficient. Thick honey or even partially crystallised honey is extracted without much effort at all. Also frames never collapse, as sometimes happens in the radials.

CFM 6 extracts 6 full-depth or 12 shallow frames up to 14 cm in height. Baskets 30 x 46 cm with holes for frames. Motor drive: 370 Watt, triple ball bearing, underneath the tank.

CFM 12 extracts 12 full-depth frames per spin, baskets 25 x 46 cm with holes for frames. Motor drive 750 Watt, triple ball bearing, underneath the tank.

Both models have fully automatic speed control. Select from three programmes, vary max and min speed, number of changes in direction, and time. Once set, simply unload and load frames and close lid. Baskets and tank in stainless steel. Acrylic lids on hinges.

Maxant 3100P (click for YouTube Video) 

Maxant Series 3100 Extractors, two models available:

• Maxant Model 3100H (#05820) – manual – uses a 4 to 1 pulley and belt drive, no legs.
• Maxant Model 3100P (#05830) – electric motor – uses a 1/8 H.P. geared 220 V motor, controlled by a dial-operated speed control, no legs.

Both units have a fixed-screened basket holding 3 full-depth or 6 ideal frames. Ideals are held radially and don’t need to be turned (see photo). Full-depth frames are tangential and will need to be turned.

Can be purchased with or without legs.
Leg kits are sold separately (#05835).

Electric motor and speed control can also be purchased separately (#05836) POA. Which means the hand-operated machine can be upgraded to electric at a later date, as the number of your hives increases.

34 kg bucket, lid, honeygate, and coarse strainer

Allows rapid uncapping with ergonomic movement, easy on your wrists and hands. Adjustable for depth of cut, copper blades are heated indirectly and thus prevent scorching of honey. Heating elements are long lasting and replaceable.

This video was made in the U.S. where they mostly use ideal frames. Uncapping plane works just as well on full-depth frames, you just need to make two passes per side of frame. Very quick too, much quicker than the video…

Plastic trays 56 x 38 x 20 mm, solid or mesh base. Uncap into mesh-based tray and allow to drain by gravity into solid-based tray.
