Win’s Creek Meadery

Wins Creek Meadery and Bindaree Bee Supplies are located in the Historic Traveller’s Rest Inn, ca. 1879

Our passion for bees was born from a love for animals and the sustainability of our environment. We keep our bees in native eucalypt forests and woodlands where they produce honey from species such as spotted gum, stringybark and yellow box. This is the honey we use to produce small batches of some of Australia’s finest handcrafted meads.

Our cellar door restaurant offers meals and platters to pair with our mead. Items for the menu are sourced as much as possible from other local and regional producers, including pasture pork, free-range chicken and eggs. A range of sweets are all made in house to be enjoyed with our fair trade and organic coffee. Bookings advised, for a reservation click here.

Browse the Wins Creek gift shop for handmade ceramics, beeswax candles, gorgeous quilts, stained glass ornaments, and of course honey. Taste and choose your favourite honey from varieties produced by ourselves or selected regional and Tasmanian honey producers.
