Complete Warre Hive

Described by A. E. Warre, in his book Beekeeping for All, the Warre hives are part of a system called Natural Beekeeping.

Our Warre hives are handmade in Murrumbateman, everything is fully assembled. The interior is untreated and the exterior is sealed with organic outdoor furniture oil (citrus, linseed oil, tung oil and beeswax). The complete set consists of the pigeon house, three warre hive boxes, base, quilting box, and 24  warre frames.  The pigeon house fits over the quilting box and provides protection from the heat and insulation from the cold; it adds character and makes the hive a decorative landscape feature.
